Avyakt BapDada 14th January 1990
Today, BapDada, the first and eternal creator of the Brahmins, was seeing the Brahmin children who are his direct, close creation. You are BapDada’s most loved creation. and you move forward through your aim of being close and becoming equal. Today BapDada saw the speed and method of both the fast effort-makers, and the effort-makers. Those who have a fast speed adopt the the elevated, easy method given by BapDada. The fast effort makers are in the first division, and the effort makers pass in the second division. There are many reasons for the difference in the result, but there are two main reasons: the power of thought is not used accurately, and the power of speech is not used accurately. Instead of the power being put to use, you are loose (slack). There is little difference in these two words, but a great difference in the result.
Over three of four days BapDada saw the result at 50% – half and half. The account for the accumulation of both the powers of thought and speech was alright for 50% of the souls – it cannot be said that it was absolutely alright. Out of the other 50%, 40% of their account is in accumulation, and 60% is the account of waste and ordinary.
: Today BapDada is drawing special attention to speech, to words. Speech pulls the mind towards itself. Two years ago BapDada told the maharathi souls to speak less, speak softly , and speak sweetly. Do you remember this? The sign of those who speak of wasteful things is that they will speak a lot. They will control themselves by compulsion according to the time and the gathering, but inside they will feel as though someone has forced them to remain in silence. What is the greatest damage caused by wasteful words? Firstly the energy of the body finishes because you use it, and secondly, time is wasted.
Those who speak of wasteful things have the habit of making small things into very big things, and their way of speaking will be as though they are telling a story, like the Ramayan or the Mahabharat. They will speak with a lot of interest and they will create interest in others. But what is the result? What was the result of the Ramayan or the Mahabharat? Did Rama go into exile? Was there a battle between the Kauravs and the Pandavs as they have shown? There is no essence in it, but the music of it is very entertaining. This is called a story. Because of the weakness of Maya, those who speak waste things quickly make weak souls their companions, and so speak to those who will listen to them. Why? Because such souls cannot love solitude – so they are very clever in making companions. Externally it appears as though their gathering is very powerful and big.
Always remember – these are the last steps of Maya’s departure. Even as she is leaving, she continues to shoot her arrows, and her influence will do its own work somewhere or other. She is not going to go away that easily. Even if not in a direct form, or in a bitter indirect form, she will adopt a very sweet new form and keep on trying with Brahmins. An then the innocent Brahmins forget that they have to become conquerors of Maya.
And another thing – many forms of wasteful and ordinary words were observed. You indulge in joke and laughter beyond the limit. Secondly, you taunt others. Thirdly, you speak of, and listen to, the news from here and there. You also speak of the weaknesses of the serviceable ones. This is mixed chutney. You like chutney do you not? And fifthly, words are used that are not accurate (yukti-yukt), that are not in the Brahmin life dictionary. These five forms were seen. BapDada counts all five as wasteful. Jokes and laughter are good when there is spirituality within it. Entertainment is good when it is according to the person, the time, the gathering, the place, and the atmosphere. If even one of these things is not right, the that entertainment is wasteful. You make everyone laugh a lot, but you speak a lot – this is the mixed chutney, is it not?
And so keep your words within the limit of time – this is known as maryada purshottam. Elevated versions are never many – if you continue to speak whenever you want, they are not elevated versions. And so Brahmins, the master satgurus, the children of the satguru, always speak elevated versions, not simply versions.
Someone who speaks of wasteful things will collect in his intellect all the rubbish of wasteful things and wasteful news from all four directions, because he will have to give it a form of an entertaining story. Just see how much those who wrote the scriptures collected in their intellect! They show Sita emerging from a vessel of clay. Just see from where they created the pandavs and the kauravs – they have accumulated all this have they not? This is why you must speak words that are necessary and accurate, according to the time and place – words which bring benefit to the self and to others.
So check how much energy and time you accumulated, and how much you wasted through words. When you check this you will automatically experience the sweetness of introversion. An introverted soul will experience himself to be the embodiment of tapasya, sitting in the cottage of the forehead. Do you understand? There is a lot of expansion, but understand a lot in only a few words. Achcha.
To those from all four directions, who have an elevated aim, and imbibe elevated characteristics – to the souls who make intense efforts – to the souls who follow the most elevated code of conduct, and are constantly aware of their words and the time – to the mahavirs who understand all forms of Maya – to the knowledgeable souls – to the carefree emperors who remain in pleasure at every second – BapDada’s love, remembrance, and namaste.
