Avyakt BapDada 4th December 1995

Today, BapDada was seeing the new children from this land and abroad, whether they have come in their corporeal or angelic forms. BapDada was seeing the new ones, and seeing the faith of them all. Faith is the foundation of perfection within this Brahmin life – if faith is strong, perfection will be easily and quickly reached. BapDada was seeing that children have a variety of faith.

Accurate faith is: I belong to the Father, the Supreme Soul, and I recognise, accept, and consider myself to be a soul, and I know the Father as he is. This is accurate faith.

The second number faith is to experience peace for a short time, through yoga and the powerful atmosphere of the place. Or there is the influence of the Brahmin family – the spiritual love of the Brahmin family, and the life of purity. You enjoy the company: in contrast to the atmosphere of the world, the company is good, the knowledge is good, the family is good, and the atmosphere is good. And so you continues to move along, on the foundation of enjoying all of this. This is the second number faith – the first number is to have accurate faith.

The third number is based on the extent to which you protect yourself from the sorrowful atmosphere of worldly relations, and spend that time at the centre – to that extent you remove yourself from sorrow, and experience peace. You would not go into the depths of knowledge, but sometimes go to the centre to attain peace.

When thirsty people receive even one drop of water, they experience that to be something great. In the same way you have a lot of intoxication at first, but if your faith is of the second or third variety, then the happiness and force of the initial period gradually changes.

This season many new ones have come – it is good that you have been given this chance. BapDada is happy to see the new children, and that they have once again reached their own family. But check that your foundation of faith is strong. If your faith is accurate you should not find it difficult to imbibe the main subject of purity. If impurity makes you fluctuate, even in your dreams, then understand that your foundation of accurate faith is weak. The original religion of the soul is purity. Impurity is an external religion. When you have the faith of your original religion, no other religion can make you fluctuate.

When the Father, the Almighty Authority is with you, impurity cannot come. But it does come – so where does it come from? Thieves have their special gates, their own secret entrances. So do you have a secret gate hidden somewhere – check this – where does Maya come from? Check that Maya has not created a secret entrance somewhere. These entrances are made by weak sanskars or nature – no matter how much you try to close such a gate of weakness, it still reopens. Maya knows every gate of weakness and can find her way through it. While moving along, you have impure thoughts, or even speak such words, or perform such actions. So a gate is open somewhere, and this is why Maya comes. What kind of company is this?

Why does weakness remain? Take for instance the vice of greed. Greed doesn’t just exist in terms of food and drink. Many think they are not attracted to clothes, food, or the place they are living in, and that they are happy with what they receive. However, as they move forward, Maya brings greed in a royal or subtle form. Even good serviceable souls might ask ask themselves why the teacher never mentions their name, or never gives them praise. This is royal greed. Or if they have got a name for themselves, they think “I am something – only I am doing this – only I can do this”. This is arrogance. These are royal forms of the vices. If one vice is there in a royal form, its other four companions will also be there in a hidden form. So when you say you don’t have the intoxication that you initially experienced, be aware that Maya has entered through the thief gate.

Teachers want their centres to be good – it doesn’t matter what their clothes are like, but their centres should be a comfortable place to live in. They feel should have good service companions, good students, and a full Baba’s box. If a good student goes away, their heart starts to beat faster, and they think “what shall I do now – he was a good helper but he has gone away”. Was your helper the student or the Father? This royal form of Maya tries to shake your foundation. If you have the faith that the Almighty Authority is with you, then he will make someone or another an instrument to help you.

Do not have the desire to be given an opportunity in service. If you are asked to come onto the stage, then do it with happiness, but to want this is another royal form of begging. Even the Dadis and Didis do not recognise everyone – they only put forward those who come to the front. Some come onto the stage because they speak sweetly and with great clarity, or have good catching power, and they relate examples form here and there, and so their name is glorified. If you are asked “who do you want?” or “who should come”, you will ask for these ones, even if they are weak in yoga. The final result is not based on this. The final result is not based on giving lectures, or creating students or centres. How many souls have you made worthy? The final number will be based on how many you gave happiness to, and how powerful you yourself remained.

The main thing is to make your faith strong in an accurate way. You say you are a soul, and that the Father is the Almighty Authority, but this should be visible in your practical actions. If you are being shaken by Maya, then who will accept your Father to be the Almighty Authority? Whether you are new ones or older ones, put your foundation of faith into practical use, and use it at the right time. Do not let your mind fluctuate. Do not let your stage fluctuate. When something comes, finish it from a distance instantly. Do not become warriors now. Many are not constant yogis, but are warriors at times, battling. What do you call yourselves – warriors or yogis? You call yourselves easy yogis.

A knowledgeable and yogi soul will constantly have a clean and clear intellect, and will never be deceived. A yogi would not say “I don’t know” – his intellect would always remain clear. The sign of being the embodiment of dharna is being constantly double-light, even in a mela (fair) or jhamela (chaos). And the sign of a serviceable soul is to constantly have the feelings of being a humble instrument. So check all of these within yourself. All of you say your are Godly students in all four subjects – so these signs should be visible.

So what will the new ones do? You have to make your faith even stronger, or you will move along for two or three years and then return to the old world. And those who return to the old world cannot settle there either. They belong neither to this world or that world. So make your foundation very strong. Experience the Almighty Authority Father to be with you. If you experience this one thing, you will pass in everything.People have the intoxication of being in the company of a Prime Minister or a Minister, but this one is the Almighty Authority. Achcha.

The centres should be free from obstacles. If there is any complication over which the teacher is making effort, and yet the atmosphere remains the same, is that service? Or is that a jhamela? Did you become a Brahma Kumar or Kumari for this jhamela? If you want a jhamela, there are many places in the world for this. But to become a Brahma Kumar or Kumari means to celebrate a mela (meeting), not to create a jhamela. If you create a jhamela, don’t call yourself a brahmin, but call yourself a warrior. Do not spoil the Brahmin name. If you create a jhamela, you are a warrior, not a Brahmin.

Each of you has to become free from creating a jhamela in your mind, words, actions, relationships, and connections. There should be no jhamela. Check this every day. Even waste thoughts are a jhamela – maybe not with ot
hers, but in your own mind. Do not think about others, do not look at others, but free yourself from any jhamela. The Father has told you to raise your anchor away from the old world, so have you raised it, or are you still anchored? Do not remain in the darkness of ignorance.

Should BapDada tell a little of what is in his heart? BapDada sometimes wonders whether the children will really become completely free. This type of thought in BapDada is not right is it? The father must have faith in the children. But sometimes he has a slight doubt. The Diamond Jubilee begins in one month, in January. Will you become free in one month? How much more time do you need? Raise your hands if you need more time. Achcha. Those who raised their hands, stand up! At least you are honest. Achcha – these ones need time – take their photograph! They will be given some more time – do not be afraid – those who want to stand up, you can do so now. Because you are being truthful, it will happen very quickly. If all of you were to become free, then a few others would become free also by holding onto your tail. Achcha – is this lesson firm?

All the youth, raise your hands! The majority of new ones are youth – you are a matter of great pride for this institution. All of you youth should perform such wonders that the Father is visible through the activity and transformation of each one of you. You have to make yourself a divine mirror. From your face, others should be able to see an angel, or an embodiment of divine virtues. So become a mirror, will you not?

Householders raise your hands! There are many. BapDada always compares the householders with lotus flowers. So, are you sometimes affected by a water drop? You are not sometimes influenced by any mud are you? The householders have to make the entire old world, and the souls of the world, into a lotus pond. A lotus looks very beautiful in the middle of a pond. So, make this world into the greatest lotus pond, so that wherever people look they see only lotus flowers. Remember firmly that you are lotus flowers, detached and loved by the Father. Achcha.

To the elevated, most fortunate souls in all directions, who constantly make the Bestower of Fortune belong to them – to the worthy children who constantly listen to BapDada’s shrimat, and put it into practice – to all those children who become free from jhamela, and who celebrate a meeting with God: BapDada’s love, remembrance and namaste.
