Avyakt BapDada 2nd December 1985

Tody BapDada is seeing the power of spirituality in His spiritual children. Every child is a spiritual child and so has complete right to spiritual power from the spiritual father. Baba was seeing to what extent souls have become the embodiment of this attainment. Every day the spiritual father give love and remembrances. All children calling themselves spiritual children give the reply of “namaste” or “love and remembrances” ether through their lips or through their mind. The return is given, the words are repeated, but the significance of this is that every day the spiritual Father calls you his spiritual children to remind you of your true spiritual power. It is with this power of spirituality that you transform yourself and all others. The main foundation is spiritual power. This power liberates you from numerous physical bonds.

In the creation of the world, three tasks are essential: establishment, sustenance, and destruction. So too, liberation from all bonds requires three aspects of spiritual power: thought, words, and action. There has to be the experience of spirituality in all three. If the soul is skillful and accurate in all three, then it is jeevanmukt (liberated in life).

BapDada is seeing the subtle bonds that these three aspects are connected to: a soul in bondage is constantly under the influence of others, constantly dependant. They will not experience constant inner happiness. In the world outside temporary supports supports can give temporary happiness, but not eternal happiness. In Brahmin life a soul caught in bondage will experience joy for a short time through the support of service, or through the support of the power of the gathering, or the support of some elevated attainment, or the support of elevated company. While there is support there is happiness, but when the support finishes, the happiness also finishes, and there is not a constant stage of stability. Sometimes they dance with such happiness that it seems no-one is equal to them. But when they stop. a little stone is as bad as a mountain. There isn’t the original power.. They danced with happiness on the basis of external support, so when the support is removed, how can they dance? So internal spiritual power is essential in all three aspects.

The main bondage is that the soul lacks the power to control thoughts, and so is in bondage to its own thoughts. There is the experience of dependance and outside influence. The souls remains busy in its own thought for a long time. They build imaginary castles, and then pull them down. A huge, high wall is built, and so there is the expression “building castles in the air”. In bhakti they worship images, decorate them, and go and drown them. In the same way a soul caught in the bondage of many thoughts creates many things, destroys them, and tires itself in this wasteful activity. Then the heart shrinks and loses hope. Sometimes there is even arrogance, and one’s own mistakes are blamed on others. The most bitter bondage is the bondage of the mind, because the intellect is locked, and they will not understand even if you try explaining to them.

The speciality of the confluence age is to swing in the swing of supersensuous joy, to dance constantly with happiness. If there is bondage of the mind, the power of realisation finishes, and there cannot be this experience of supersensuous joy. This is the sign of subtle bondage of the mind.

There may be bondage to waste thoughts, to thoughts of jealousy and conflict, thoughts of carelessness or laziness. So today Baba was seeing these bondages, seeing how many liberated souls there are. The thick ropes are finished, but the subtle threads remain – they are thin but they are good at tying you. At such times the soul doesn’t know it is tied, because the bondage brings temporary intoxication. Someone physically intoxicated might be unaware of having fallen, he may be in a gutter, yet thinks he is in a palace – his hands are empty but he thinks he is a king. Someone with temporary intoxication never considers themselves to be wrong – they constantly try to prove they are right. Or they are careless and allow it to continue, saying “oh well, such things always happen”.

Only the bondage of thought has been mentioned today. Bondage of words and actions will be taken up another time.

Continue to experience freedom through spiritual power. To experience jeevanmukti at the Confluence Age is to claim jeevanmukti for the future. No prepare yourselves quickly. Others are liberated through your liberation.

Scientists are trapped in bondage to their equipment. Political leaders want freedom, but have so many thoughts they cannot fulfil. Some want liberation from poverty, some liberation from the household, but the sound from everyone is the same. Everyone is crying out for liberation. So be bestowers and show others the path to liberation.

Perhaps you think this is the Fathers task? It is you, not the Father, who are to claim the reward. It is you, not Baba, who want subjects and devotees. In the copper age you will be the first devotees to worship the Father, and whatever you do, others will follow. So listen to their cries now, and bestow liberation. Achcha.

To those who attain liberation on the basis of spiritual power; those who free themselves from subtle bonds and become bestowers of liberation, who constantly experience internal joy and supersensory happiness, and enable others to move forward; those who constantly have the pure desire to grant liberation to all other souls; to those souls with such spiritual power, BapDada’s love, remembrance, and namaste.
