Global Leadership Retreat - stealth BKs & business as usual

That old hoary question rises again ... no sooner does Brian Bacon and 'Self Management Leadership' drop of the BKWSU's annual account sheet but Shiva Baba and the 3 worlds gets a corporate rebranding and the business wing of Gyan reincarnates in yet another stealth form. So where does "The Baba's" business stop and personal financial interest start? And was this what we all surrendered our bones in service, handed over our money and worked for nothing to build up?

... fluffing corporate whores ... oops, excuse me ... initiating Fortune 500 executives with feel good New Age philosophy and spirit channeling re-labelled as "opening to the transcendent" and as they rape and pillage the world to profit their shareholders.
And who exactly is using who? Are these just disposable stooges for the BKWSU or are they mercenary BKs selling off the family inheritance ... looking for a payday after all that free labor they threw the Brahma Kumaris way? That logo is 100% BK, is not it? I mean, why don't the BKs just sell it as, "we can hypnotize and NLP your employers to work for nothing and feel good about it ... just like we have hypnotized our followers to do".

BK stalwarts David Jones & Carmen Warrington, whose music and meditations have sold well to the Brahma Kumaris community promote their own business websites; Calm and Creative, David Jones Drums, Peace Audio etc whilst teaming up with the usual Peter Senge and 'Society for Organizational Learning' name dropping BK business gurus; Janet Sernack and Dr Stella E. Humphries.

Long-term Brahma Kumari followers might remember 'Stella the Stealth BK*' from the Symposia Seminars organization by the Beakies in Greece as long ago as 1999. Or you may remember her with high level Brahma Kumari advisor Neville Hodgkinson doing an "independent" interview, "On Being a Leader: A Conversation" with President of the USA, Sister Mohini Panjabi for the Society for Organizational Learning newsletter. "Stella is a dedicated meditator and teacher-student of universal spiritual principles for over twenty years".

I note how in these circles, "student of universal spiritual principles" become corporate short hand for Brahma Kumari follower and recruiter, and how "spiritual wisdom – eastern and Western traditions" fits within the corporate CV. What does that mean? Double Foreigners in BK Speak? Westerners following the Brahma Kumaris? But are we so sure that the channeling based Brahma Kumari religion are "universal spiritual principles"?

Perhaps by "universal spiritual principles" they refer to the Brahma Kumaris principles of inflating their own spiritual self-importance, reinventing corporate fronts and re-writing their own history ... all now proven facts because, surely by "principles" they cannot mean "The Maryadas" those core spiritual disciplines that the God and leadership of the Brahma Kumaris laid down to govern BK life ... those spiritual principles that supposedly separated business, money and the true religion of Godly family?

Remember the "no discussing lokik business" at the center ... along with all the giving up of careers and education? In my opinion, here we have the 'built-up-out-of-donations-to-charity' Brahma Kumari centers and networks seemingly being whored out yet again for financially rewarding personal businesses and self-promotion again under the Australian directorship of Charlie Hogg. So when was the last time BK Charlie Hogg had a job and is he still supported by his wealthy family or donations to the BKWSU now? Is this not entirely contrary to Shrimat?
The Global Leadership Retreat wrote:WHO WE ARE - THE GLOBAL LEADERSHIP RETREAT

Is a collaborative initiative and partnership among leading transformational corporate facilitators, change agents and executive coaches and The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.
Supports leaders in accessing inner wisdom and building resilience to respond powerfully to the unprecedented challenges arising within their lives and organisations with the intensification of global change.
Inspires leaders to open to new levels of thought, feeling and action through which old ways can be reconciled and released and the seeds for creating the new can be found.
Holds a vision of world peace in a conscious and sustainable world.

Commits to re-ennobling people, work and prosperity in support of the pre-eminence of life.

"Deeply knowing they are the cause of an enlightened global future" there is no mention of "Destruction" and the death of 6 Billion human being through nuclear holocaust and civil war then? Nor any mention that vision of world peace and sustainable Golden Age is limited to 900,000 obedient Brahma Kumari followers?

From Janetsernack.com about Prajamata Janet-ji who recently created The Global Leadership Retreat as "a collaborative initiative and partnership among leading, transformational corporate facilitators, change agents and executive coaches and the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. It aims to support leaders in accessing inner wisdom and building resilience to respond powerfully to the unprecedented challenges arising within their lives and organisations with the intensification of global change."

Well, it does seem to me that all those "corporate facilitators, change agents and executive coaches" are fairly senior Brahma Kumari and Brian Bacon followers. "The Global Leadership Retreat" smells awfully like a Brahma Kumari service programme where "experiencing the self as a spiritual being and exploring The Cycle of creation" remain on the menu ... but 'The Baba' and so-called "ancient Raja Yoga" is vaguely remarketed as being "open to the transcendent" and "true to higher calling". Executives and business teams are being taught a "willingness to open" to the BK channeled entity, to me, in a manner that entirely obscures what they are getting is basically Brahma Kumarism. Was it not just the other year when Brian Bacon and the "Global Executive Retreat" were wheeled out in Australian Leura BK center and the now defunct globalexecutiveretreat.com website.

It all sounds to familiar. As does the "Confluence Age" hanging in there as, "A HISTORICAL SHIFT IS IN PROGRESS ... WE LIVE IN CHALLENGING TIMES". But ... I may be wrong. If any one else can take a look over the websites and work out which bit is selling Gyan, which bit is selling Bhakti and which bit is just selling themselves or making money ... please let us know.

The Global Leadership Retreat is being built as a global business based in Israel ... does any reliable senior know anything about this? Do they care any more ... or does the BKWSU just take a commission?
Janet Sernack wrote:The Global Leadership Retreat

Her mission is to continue:

    • Building Janet Sernack as a global brand; sustainability consultant, transformational facilitator, leadership retreat leader and executive coach
    • Collaborating with the Brahma Kumaris to build models and processes for shifting power structures & developing leadership consciousness
    • Further developing global alliances using the U process to shift systems, shift power structures and build sustainability
    • Working through Compass Learning through building non prescriptive customized learning journeys that deliver what they promise
    • Offering tailored and targeted executive long term coaching programs

Janet who is happily married and an enthusiastic "Yoga and meditation devotee" sees the world as "a place of unlimited possibility and abundance". Their advertised network partners include;

* I define "Stealth BK" as the Brahma Kumaris followers' yukti, or strategy, of passing themselves off as not being a BK as service programmes promoting the Brahma Kumaris, even going as far as pretending to be a non-BK speaker or organizer from some other often BK front organization. Confusing ... its meant to be. Do the leadership care ... probably not as long as their position is not threatened. Brahma Kumari followers Janet and Stella also work together as Compass Learning.
