BK financial issues as discussed in Murlis and Avyakt Vanis

Various issues related to BK finances and properties at the organization as well as individual level have been discussed under various threads and sometimes I have also quoted relevant Murli points, but it is all scattered and therefore I thought there should be a thread where different issues related to BK finances and properties as discussed in the Murlis and Avyakt Vanis or BK literature could be compiled. PBK financial/property issues could also be discussed besides quotations from Discussion CDs on such issues. And hence this new thread.

I had recently posted an important Murli quote in the BK section which was related to BK finances/properties, but I don't know if Members have noticed it or not. It is as follows:

"शिवबाबा को तो मकान आदि बनाना नहीं है। वह तो दाता है। यह सब बच्चों के लिए है। शिवबाबा कहेंगे तुम बच्चे ही ट्रस्टी होकर सम्भालो।....बाकी मैं लेकर क्या करूँगा। तुम्हारे लिए ही सेन्टर खुलवाये हैं। यह हॉस्पिटल आर कॉलेज कम्बाइन्ड है। ... ऐसे नहीं यह मकान शिवबाबा वा ब्रह्मा बाबा का है। सब कुछ बच्चों के लिए है। तुम ब्राह्मण बच्चे हो, इसमें झगड़े आदि की कोई बात नहीं है। सबकी कम्बाइन्ड प्रापर्टी है। इतने सब ढ़ेर बच्चे हो, पार्टीशन कुछ हो न सके। गवर्मेन्ट भी कुछ कर न सके। यह ब्राह्मण बच्चों का है, सब मालिक हैं। सब बच्चे हैं। कोई गरीब, कोई साहूकार - यहाँ सब आकर रहते हैं। कोई की प्रापर्टी नहीं है। लाखों की अन्दाज़ में हो जायेंगे। सब कुछ तुम मीठे बच्चों के लिए है।" (ब्रह्माकुमारियों द्वारा प्रकाशित रिवाइज़्ड साकार मुरली दिनांक ११.१२.०७, पृ.३ एवं ४)

"ShivBaba ko toh makaan aadi banana nahee hai. Vah toh daataa hai. Yah sab bachchon ke liye hai. ShivBaba kahengey tum bachchey hee trustee hokar sambhaalo. ... Baaki mai lekar kya karoonga. Tumhaarey liye hee center khulvaaye hain. Yah hospital aur college combined hai ... Aisey nahee yah makaan ShivBaba va Brahma Baba ka hai. Sab kuchch bachchon ke liye hai. Tum Brahmin bachchey ho, ismay jhagdey aadi kee koi baat nahee hai. Sabkee combined property hai. Itney sab dher bachchey ho, partition kuchch ho na sakey. Government bhi kuchch kar na sakey. Yah Brahman bachchon ka hai, sab maalik hain. Sab bachchey hain. Koi gareeb, koi saahookaar – yahaan sab aakar rahtey hain. Koi kee property nahee hai. Laakhon kee andaaz may ho jaayengey. “ShivBaba does not have to build houses etc. He is a giver. All this is for the children. ShivBaba will say that you children take care as a trustee ... What will I do by taking it? The centers have been opened for you only. This hospital and college is combined ... It is not as if this building belongs to ShivBaba or Brahma Baba. Everything is for the children. You are Brahmin children; there is no question of dispute etc. in this. It is everybody’s combined property. You are numerous children; there cannot be any partition. Government too cannot do anything. This belongs to the Brahmin children. Everyone is an owner. All are children. Some are poor; some are rich – here everyone comes and lives. It is not a property of any one (person). They will grow into lakhs. Everything is for you sweet children." The above Murli quote gives a direction to the BKs much different from what we read in the Constitution of BKWSO as produced in another thread in this Section where it was mentioned how ordinary BKs are not even Members.

Abhi bhi kahtey hain Bhaarat ka praacheen Yoga sikhlaaney jaatey hain toh jhat paisey dengey. Baba ko toh kisi ke paisey kee darkaar nahee. “You should be very intoxicated. Those people are simply breaking their heads to earn fame. They get the amount from the Government. Sanyasis get a lot of money. Even now they say – if we go to teach the ancient Yoga of India, then they will immediately give money. Baba does not need anybody’s money. This one is a bhola bhandari (a title of Shiv) who Himself helps the entire world; He gets help from the children. When children show courage, the Father gives help. When someone comes from outside, they are habituated; they think that they should give something to the ashram (center). But you should tell – why do you give us? You have not listened to The Knowledge. “You should always first of all keep the picture in front of them. You should never ask for money. You job is to give them. If they have to give anything they will give on their own. If anyone asks about the price, tell them that Baba is a friend of the poor ones (garibniwaaz). It is distributed free of cost to the poor. As for the rich people, whatever (amount) they give, we will get many more (pictures/books) printed (with that amount). We don’t use the money for ourselves. Whatever we get is used for public service. It is the rich people only who build dharmashala (free of charge public lodging) etc. Here, even the poor people can set up centers. No cost is involved in it. Suppose someone says that he wishes to open a center or to open this Godly University. Even if 3-4 people get nice benefits from such a Godly University, then it is a matter of great fortune for those who opened it. One should be very noble-minded in this. Look Baba is so generous. He takes useless things and gives emperorship. It is ShivBaba’s bhandara (storehouse). Neither are you made to purchase any book, etc. Just the Murli is sent (to you). It is the Father’s treasure; what fees would He take! What about picture stuff?

“You should always first of all keep the picture in front of them.

And then I read ...

“The Father says you should not remember any subtle or corporeal or incorporeal picture. You are given a target; people remember (God) by seeing pictures. Baba says – stop seeing pictures. This is a path of worship ... He says – Children, do not look at any picture."

Omshanti. Although it is off topic, I would like to clarify that in the above line Baba is talking about the five main pictures (Trimurti, World Cycle, World Tree, Ladder, Lakshmi-Narayan) which were used for exhibitions during the times of Brahma Baba to explain The Knowledge to the newcomers.

And then I read ... “The Father says you should not remember any subtle or corporeal or incorporeal picture. You are given a target; people remember (God) by seeing pictures. Baba says – stop seeing pictures. This is a path of worship ... He says – Children, do not look at any picture What about picture stuff?

And in the above Murli ShivBaba says that you should not remember the pictures of individual persons, like Brahma Baba, Mama, Didis, Dadis, or other bodily beings.
