Any updates on the new destruction date “2006” from the BK/XBK news desk? Just in case as I hear some one close may be planning a trip there on the off season. If there is such a thing any more as an off season and are double foreigners welcomed?

As usual, the issues on "destruction" have been put into the category of "time won't wait for you, will you wait for time". i.e do what you need to do now, let the future take care of itself. BK philisophy nowadays is mainly on focusing on getting yourself PURE and doing SERVICE. Thus throwing everything you got for the yagya (i.e. surrender). There is really little new knowledge on the drama given out (perhaps the PBks have some insights....)

This year is the 70th anniversary of the BK yagya, it is also Dadi Prakashmani's 85th birthday, and also Dadi Janki's 90th birthday. It actually could be quite festive this season. And I think double foreigners are still welcome, though I suspect you are left to your own devices and given more space rather than attention. Which is not a bad thing.

If any of you heard or read the New Year murli, you'ld notice BapDada sid He liked the Double Foreigners because they were double intense effort makers. He clarified this by meaning double foreigners do double effort, because DFs do things whether it is right or it is wrong. Thus DFs tend to do things twice, and just get on with it. I guess that is our speciality, DFs have courage to "challenge" and also have to interact with the world at large (on a daily basis). So I reckon bharatwassis BKs are still fond of us.

Tete, I think in general we all have "off seasons" since I do notice that sometimes BKs (especially the ones running the centres) are sometimes really jolly but a few months or weeks later, they appear very subdued. The seniors in the centre can really affect the whole mood. Fortunately (so far), I've always managed to get away before such an atmosphere has gotten to me. I don't hang around a place when vibes are not good wherever that may be.

However, I give them the benefit of the doubt, personally I also have these ups and downs anyway. And these could be down to physical effects (such as hormone changes), rather than spiritual.

I wouldn't recommend going to Mt Abu during the non DF season (i.e October to March) though I have heard some experienced DFs have done so. Don't expect many programs to be tailored for DFs (e.g. given in English) during the time, but it could be an alternative way of looking at Mt Abu of you don't want to meet DFs ! Expect you need to get permission. The spring and summer will also be either too hot, too wet, or too many "tourists". It is not much fun fighting to get on the bus, let alone in the heat.

Anyone else know of "off season" ?

Can a statement saying that destruction would take place at a specific point in drama, be taken a gyan. I would say that such a statement is not gyan. I would say that it involves fortune telling. As per the fortune-telling rules (as used outside the BK world), something that has been predicted can change. Thus, for example, a person's death can be predicted to take place during a specific time and it may also be predicted that if death does not occur during that time, then it may occur during another specified time. In this way, death can be postponed until a time comes when it does not get post-poned anymore. It is my view that the dates for destruction may also have been given based on what drama has to show (but that specific date in the drama can change). However, it has also got to be noted that when a specific date for destruction is given, it may be actually a date when an event occurs which will finally help bring about destruction. We might not be able to recognise what that event is and just because we cannot recognise it, this does not mean that the/a path towards destruction has not been established. Anyway, these statements about the date for destruction is not gyan. If one is becoming happy on hearing a date, then, one is date-conscious and this is wrong. I suppose dates had been given in the murlis so as to please those souls who want a date.
