LocalSettings.php"Gyan" is Hindi for "enlightenment" or spiritual "knowledge". BKs talk about "gyan" meaning the knowledge they have been taught and the wisdom they have gained from it. They describe their first encounters with the BK knowledge as "coming into gyan", and if and when they leave the BK organsiation, that is described inaccurately as "leaving gyan" .
