Re: Recovering your own life and self again

There are many things I would like to share about my journey from BK to ex-BK to me. I think a lot of it has had to do with this forum and its predecessor exbkchat. I think these forums are very important tools to share and vent our experiences and feelings - it is how we process and deal with our post BK trauma, witness the reality of what we are ALL going through, and realise that we are not alone in this experience and state of mind.

Some threads get a bit wobbly sometimes and there are some postings that are, well, questionable but that is also part of it. It is all a matter of where we are in our travels and the perceptions that we have at that time. I've looked back over some of my postings and one or two have caused me to wince!

Well, I am very grateful for all your good wishes and am equally happy that I am in a position to receive them. I hope everyone who has been associated with the BKs is also able to get past it as quickly and painlessly as possible.
