... What is the main reason for experiencing more pleasure or more pain? (Someone said - Purity) Purity? That purity is more in the virgins. The power of remembrance, which is called - the place of residence of Supreme Soul, i.e. Kashi and in Kashi that tejpunj (cluster of light) resides/exists; the maximum colour of his company gets applied on the residents of Kashi. What do people say? When we are about to die, where should we reach? Kashi. So, will everyone reach Kashi? Will those who have practiced more remembrance throughout the life reach (Kashi) or will everyone reach? One develops the same kind of thoughts in the end, which, one has practiced throughout the life. Then it is said - Ant matey so gatey (as the thoughts in the end so shall be the fate). The intellect of a man, because of the dominance of sex-lust, remains busy in a woman, so, what would be his fate as per his thoughts in the end? As per his thoughts in the end, he would get a female costume (in the next birth). Or in the case of a woman; there is a dominance of sex-lust, in her too. She remembers her man, i.e. husband throughout the life considering him to be God. So, as per the thoughts in the end, she assumes a male costume.
So, when will such thoughts develop in the end that we go and reside in Kashi? What is the other name given to Kashi? Banaaras, where one gets the readymade juice (ras) of knowledge. One does not have to prepare it. It is the place where readymade juice is received. Why is it received? Why is it received? There must be some reason, is not it? Why is the ready-made juice (banaa-banaaya ras) received only in Kashi, in Banaras? Why has any other city not been mentioned? (Someone said - she surrenders completely) No. It is said - Kashi Vishwanath Gangey. So, why does Ganga assume the form of a sword there? And (why does) she not assume the form of a sword at any other place? Ganga does not become such a sharp sword in any other city as much as it becomes on reaching Kashi. What is the reason? (Someone said - the appointed/permanent Chariot...) Yes, stand up and speak, speak loudly. (Someone said-the chosen Chariot) Yes, he is indeed an appointed/permanent Chariot. Shankar's residence is said to be in Kashi. It is only because of Shankar, that the Supreme Soul enters into that appointed/permanent Chariot and prepares the tejpunj (mass/cluster of light), because - where does the connection of the intellect of the children, who are spread all over the world, get concentrated?
Arey, when we remember someone, anyone; a mother remembers her child. If the child is sitting in London, will the intellect of the mother go to any place or only to her child? Will it go only to the child? Will it not go to the place? (Someone said – it would go to the place) Yes, along with the person, the place also becomes important. So, the place where the appointed/permanent Chariot lives, the children who obtain power from the Supreme Soul who enters the appointed Chariot, the soul-form children of the Supreme Soul Father, the spiritual children - where does their intellect go and concentrate? In Banaaras, in Kashi, that is why Kaasya, i.e. tej (light) – a mass/cluster of light gets collected there. The closer one lives to that cluster of light through the intellect or body, there is dominance of the intellect, but even if they live close through the body, then wherever is our body, there shall be our mind – this is the rule.
In the body, the eyes are the foremost. The thing/person the eyes see, it is a rule that it certainly remembers it/him. Whatever is seen through the eyes, works in two ways. One kind of seeing is with attachment, and one kind of seeing is without attachment. But it was definitely observed/seen. Is it possible for anyone to remain Avyakt (unmanifest) without attachment from the morning till the evening? It is not possible. So, those who are body conscious, the Father’s children [who] have got surrendered, they have been living in Madhuban itself, but do not remember the Father through the intellect. Their intellect keeps running in the outside world, but where are they living continuously? Through the physical eyes, the physical organs that are there, where have they been living? They have been living close to the Father. It means that they have been living in the mud-like body, because their intellect keeps running outside. So, have they been living in the mud/soil or have they been residing in the ‘living form’ (chaitanya roop)? So, what is famous even [also] about that mud/soil in the path of worship? It is famous that the lowermost organ of God. Which ones? The legs. Even if one gets the mud on the legs, if one would apply it on his forehead, it is a big fortune! What do they say? Does anyone take the mud stuck to the nose and apply on the forehead? No. If one gets even the mud of the legs. Means, what is the reason? The body, the appointed Chariot in which the Supreme Soul Father enters, every organ of that body acts like a ling. What does it act like? For example, the one in whose company a virgin gets coloured for the first time, the one whose complete colour of company gets applied on her, she is unable to forget that one throughout her life. The first impression becomes the firm impression. Similarly, the Chariot through whom the Supreme Soul Shiv enters in an appointed form and plays an everlasting part, that body is worshipped in form of a ling. What? It is worshipped in the form of a ling. Why?
Why is the entire body worshipped in the form of ling? It is because all the organs of that body become concentrated in that stage, constant in the thoughtless stage, the stage in which the Supreme Soul Father himself becomes constant. He is in that stage. There is no question of becoming like that. He already is, but the body in which He enters, how does that soul also become? It becomes [a soul] with a stage equal to that of the Father. So the colour of the company gets applied completely, that is why, what is believed in the path of worship? Especially in the Indian region, whether the Supreme Soul is corporeal or incorporeal, whether He is close in corporeal form or in an incorporeal form. Even if he is close through the intellect, even if he is close through the body, even if he is close through the mind, the intellect. Both the matters are elevated/superior. Sagun means Sakar, i.e. corporeal and nirgun means niraakaar (incorporeal). That is why Tulsidas has also written – “Sagunahi, aguna hee nahi kachu bheda. Ubhai harai bhav sambhav kheda.” (There is no difference between the corporeal and incorporeal forms of God ...) One must not develop an attitude of partiality towards the corpoeal or incorporeal. The incorporeal is also present in the one who is the corporeal medium ... (to be continued)
