Advised daily disciplines for a BK adherent

This is from the BK forum, an indication of the kind of demands placed on BK adherents. The words "Yoga", rememberance and meditation being pretty much the same, as well as the additional and obscure mental exercises, e.g. "point form" which means imagining ... or some claim experiencing ... you are a point of light not a body.

These keep increasing. They are about triple what was expecting in my time with the BKs. On top of this, keen BKs will be expected to do some kind of free labor for the cult, e.g. teaching meditation class, planning evangelistic programmes, or physical maintenance of the local center, e.g. cooking, cleaning, repairing, developing ... oh, and driving the Sisters around.

Does not leave a lot of free time, does it?
Good Morning: Wish Baba first thing in the morning when you wake up

Amrit Vela meditation: 4.00 a.m. to 4.45 a.m. Be alert at 4.00 a.m.to receive Baba's blessings

Yoga: 15 mins to 30 mins before listening to the Murli (6.30 am)

Murli: Read or listen daily, preferably at the center in a sangathan (gathering)

Bhog: Every day, the food cooked in remembrance of the Father (Brahma Bhojan)

Traffic control (short meditation to stop or check thoughts): 3-5 minutes at 3.30, 4.00, 5.45, 7.00, 10.30 a.m, noon, 5.30, 7.30, 9.30 p.m.

Baba's Yaad (remembrance): One minute every hour

Bindoo Swaroop (point form): One minute every hour

5 Swaroop (5 forms): 5 secs to 5 mins every hour

4 dhaam yatra (pilgrimage to spiritual home): once daily

Homework: 30 mins.

Numashaam Yoga (evening meditation, to conquer obstacles): 6.30p.m.- 7.30 p.m. If you don’t have that much time, then 7.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

Chart (daily diary): Maintain daily at night

Baba's Yaad (meditation): 15 mins before going to bed at night.

Good Night: Wish Baba right before going to bed
