I always thought that Carl Sagan was not too much into spirituality as Edgar Mitchell, former Apollo astronaut and founder of the science of noetics. I once met Dr. Sagan on our campus and had a great chit chat with him on thermodynamics and philosophy. At the time, the 1980's I was steep into BKism, a radical BK of course and got an autograph from the Laureate Astronomer. I pasted it into one of his books I owned: The Dragons of Eden. BKs were not allowed to read such books; I still read them and had chances to meet many of the authors, some by chance.
