Cult Deprogrammer Answers Cult Questions

Post05 Dec 2024

Rick Ross, cult deprogrammer answers cult questions. Although generally good, one question he doesn't answer is, "what happens if your family or society is worse than cult?" and I think it's a problem that is part of the equation in BKism.

While the BK life may a bit crap, and based on endless lies, manipulations and financial/labour exploitation, if it's better than the individual's own family or society, then it will still be attractive to them.

An interesting question for us to ask in relationship to the BKs, is how much they have taken from Western influence to improve the appeal of BK life to Indians, e.g. the introduction of general New Agey spirituality and "life coaching".

Again, it underlines that BKism is not what it says it is, but rather it's an ongoing process of pick and choosing bits of other religions and cultures that are good for business, in order to support the hierarchy. It's just about 'expedience', i.e. what works to get what they want or maintain what they have, which is money, property/real estate, status within society.

Cult support with Dr. Janja Lalich, a sociologist who used to be in a cult. It's funny but "sociology", and to a lesser degree it's kid Sister anthropology, seems to be quite a common post-cult profession for ex-culties.
