Ascension versus Destruction
Hey everyone!
I've been going over some notes on the different spiritual dimensions/realms that I've been wanting to post on the forum and got to thinking about some aspects of destruction which is what the BKs are so deeply focussed on despite what Avyakt/Sakar Murlis often state that one should rather be focussed on one's stage (spiritual growth?) than destruction itself.
I remember that during my Madhuban days, many of us would hang onto every 'live' meeting waiting to hear when Destruction would happen. It was a fixation for many of us and I think that was probably the ultimate test of faith for us, i.e. when it truly happened, we would all truly and finally believe in what we were practicing was the truth so wah to the naysayers etc.
In my thought process, many BKs are simply hanging in there, waiting to die (or waiting to be saved during Destruction as well!), and don't allow (or cannot allow) themselves the opportunity to think about different aspects of what destruction really means. I cannot find a relevant thread to post my thoughts re this subject so I am choosing this one. Here goes:
When we look at the aspect of Destruction, and the supposed re-writing of the BK's teachings to incorporate the non-event of the big bang, combining this with the thought that perhaps the BK teachings are based on some old rhetoric or 'memory' of the founders' (and original members') ideals and thought forms we may (or not?) agree that there could be a lot missing in these teachings. Very one sided perhaps.
Let us for example say that human consciousness is undergoing vast changes on a spiritual level and many of humanity are seeking deeper more relevant belief systems to work with - we can then also see the need for changes within existing structures and teachings in order to keep up with modern times. However, this is no excuse for re-writing original teachings and the proper method maybe would be to bring into being the reasons why destruction never happened at a specific time for example.
In any case, when the 'intellect' is 'locked' about the fact that truth is an ever ongoing process of change then it will be impossible for the necessary change to happen. BKs don't search for the truth but are rather taught to 'churn' The Knowledge they already know and hear every day. Their 'truth' is simply more and more knowledge of the same day to day rhetoric and the postings of some ex-BKs on this forum add weight to this as many people are still stuck with this cyclical process of not being able to let go of the BK teachings and prefer to stick with what they know. There is no judgment on my part here, I wish to only observe this point and no jibe at anyone in particular is meant, so apologies if I cause any offence with my above statement.
My opinion of the aspect or topic of Destruction is that world-wide humanity is experiencing massive changes in their consciousness and the information that the BKs are receiving is only part of the truth. Destruction of the old (as has been noted previously by some on the forum) could be 'the letting go' of the old and the creation of a new consciousness so that the earth plane exists in a different dimension of reality than at present. Reality can change all the time for us. This would obviously happen at various stages and over some time and with the dates of 2012 being noted by some BKs, the Mayan Prophesies, The Ascended Master teachings, Theosophical Societies and the huge influx of spiritual and New Age work on the planet we can see an alignment of time and events as has happened in the past?
What would the reader say to this point: Could it be possible that as these alignments happened, the BKs predicted them as 'Destruction' whereas the various earlier dates given for Destruction (WWII, the years 1976, 2000 etc) were in fact only alignments of particular vibration of spiritual energy which destroyed some old paradigms and beliefs and brought about massive change in consciousness on our planet? So if we can agree to this then we can also perhaps say that Destruction will not and cannot take place.
Would it be possible to research mainstream events that happened on our earth at the BK predicted times of 'Destruction' and align them with this thought process? It would be interesting to see if we could find any huge event that happened that brought about a more 'peaceful' process. For example, here in South Africa we had the 1976 Soweto youth riots which eventually brought about the release of Nelson Mandela and the subsequent fall of the old apartheid government resulting in the 'freeing' of millions of people here.
Destruction can then be looked at as the process of 'Ascension', a word I don't remember being used in BK language but is common usage in New Age thinking. As we all learn to integrate different belief systems and let go of the old ways that no longer serve and support us then surely we will 'evolve' into more open and spiritual beings. As we ascend in our own ability to master the self then all external processes may possibly also evolve too. The problem may be that when one feels more superior and more evolved than others then an ego blockage takes place which prevents one from understanding anything until those you've held in lesser esteem catch up ... (??)
My line of thought says that the path of self-mastery and ascension is also the path of self-realisation. And self-realisation is not only about emerging one's virtues and specialities - to re-quote BK phraseology, its also about realising the truth for what it is – something that must evolve for the good of the whole all the time and then aligning with it and allowing it to grow within and without.
I am beginning to believe that the information delivered to the BKs through the trance channeling process is delivered in such a manner as to only feed the ones who are listening, that which they can only understand and are fixated upon. One recent 'complaint' is that the Avyakt Murlis are all the same nowadays, very little 'Murli' and lots of 'Hi theres' and meeting with various groups.
What many of us are wanting is for the BKWSU is to understand that they don't need to destroy, but that they need to ascend, because although they may feel they are building up a new world order they are destroying many aspects of self through limited understanding and stuck belief systems, which are rooted in old theories.
You die as you live, huh? So we cannot say that the BKs are lying. They are not. In their eyes anyway. However, they are also telling the truth, but their truth is only a small fraction of the bigger picture indeed.
The world as we know it is certainly ending, but it will not be destroyed. It is 'ascending' and it is ascending into higher consciousness because of the work done by all its populations. And so perhaps in 2012 we will eventually leave behind the legacy of the old and CHOOSE to live in happiness, peace and abundance, mainly because our 'conscience' will not permit us any other experience ... I suppose that Time will tell.
All comments, additions and subtractions welcome. Mic off for now!
