Can you help with a research survey on cults for the Family Survival Trust?

Dear Friends,

As you may know, one of the aims of The Family Survival Trust is to improve UK law regarding the problem of cults and cultic control.
As part of this work we are launching a survey of ex-cult members’ experiences in the UK.
If you have direct experience of being in a cult, it would be immensely helpful if you can participate and fill out the survey at the link below.
You can choose to remain anonymous.
We would like to get all responses in by September 30th.
The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.
Survey: https://forms.gle/DQSYRWrwsrBC5oZw9

This survey is an effort is to begin creating an evidence base that we can use to educate legislators and others about the realities of cults in the UK.
We are planning to publish the results of the survey next year in a report.
Our stories and experiences are important in raising awareness and bringing about change.

If you have any questions or if you need support completing the survey please feel free to ask.

Thank you very much for your help.

I filled in the survey. Took longer than 10 minutes for me. I suggest it is worthwhile. The BKs are not as bad as some groups but a lot of what some groups enforce physically the BKs do more subtly through social coercion, hierarchical politics, peer pressure, group dynamics, what is approved and disapproved of, and the way members are given ”values” by which to judge each other.
