We're in the Money

When the world did not end in WWII or 1950 as Lekhraj Kirpalani predicted, the BKs soon ran dry of what they needed the most. Money.
Having lived in comfort off Lekhraj Kirpalani's wealth ... what they could take or steal from their family homes ... what compensation they could get from the British for the loss of homes in the Sindi ... or off the donations of one of Lekhraj Kirpalani's rich non-BK female supporters ... eventually in Abu the money ran out.
With no skills and no profession, what did they do then ... an old man surrounded by a load of middle aged Indian women without any income? Did they go out and get a job?
Miracles of miracle, God told them it was OK to leave Abu and start donation collection points all over India tapping into the Hindi habit of giving to "holy people". Ever since then, they have just gotten better and better at it ... not making the most money they could but making the most money they can without drawing too much attention or criticisms.
But now there is not enough income to support all the BK leaders in the West, so what do they have to do? How do the BKs keep a hold of their best talent? Simple, just allow or encourage them start businesses selling spirituality of their own ... just like the Brahma Kumaris did.
That's the real lesson ... it's not what they say which defines them, that's just advertising. It what they do that is their real religion.
The BKs say everything in the world is inspired by what happened in their religion, this is from ... 'The Gold Diggers of 1933'. (It's worth point out that Lekhraj Kirpalani actually started him satsangs in 1932/3 not the 1936 they claim).

Gone are my blues
And gone are my tears
I've got good news
To shout in your ears
The long lost dollar has come back to the fold
With silver you can turn your dreams to gold! Oh!
We're in the money
we're in the money
We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!
We're in the money
the sky is sunny
Old man Depression
you are through
you done us wrong! Oh!
We never see a headline 'bout a bread line today
And when we see the landlord
We can look that guy right in the eye
We're in the money
Come on, my honey
Let's lend it, spend it, send it rolling around!
Oh, boy, we're in the money
I'll say we're in the money
We've got a lot of what it takes to get along!
Let's go, we're in the money
look up, the sky is sunny
Old man Depression, you are through
you done us wrong!
We never see a headline 'bout a bread line today
And when we see the landlord
We can look that guy right in the eye!
We're in the money
Come on, my honey
