They have compared the game of cricket with the efforts made on the spiritual path, the effortmaker being the batsman and Maya being the captain of the opposite team.

Can TEAM sports be mixed with spirituality ? Because unless there is a draw, someone wins and someone loses. Is it more powerful to accept losing (humility) than it is to win? is not it also that the effort maker the Captain of the opposite team and the Maya the batsman? How does the BK teach fairness and humility and the egos that go with sports, if the BK teacher is not able to see the full picture and remain detached?

Individual sports is self-battle. You win and lose with oneself. Hence Yoga (Hatha, Pranas) is itself a form of self physical discipline.
