The Murli continues to emphasize the importance of not looking at and getting attached to pictures. In the Murli of 13.02.2018, it is clearly stated as follows,
Where BKs are urged to not even look at any pictures of Shiva. However, there is wide prevalence in ALL (that I have seeen) centers, where even pictures of Dadis are continued to be prominently displayed. Even, small pictures of them are either given out or sold to the BKs and non-BKs that come to centers.
So, the issue is more on the "Messengers", even if they follow simple instructions, it would be a great service. Don't have to run after money/media/VIP. Just practice what you are told, not even what you preach -- which is again different from what you should practice.
"... People remember others when they see their pictures. Baba says: Stop looking at pictures! That is the path of devotion."
"... you mustn't remember anyone’s picture. You mustn't even have Yoga with this picture of Shiva because Shiva is not like that."
