Re: Brahmakumari founder had Shankar & Brahma in his body?

They used to keep telling (probably even now) that Brahma Baba wrote letters to Gandhiji and other world leaders. But they never said he had written to them that the WW2 was the final one. This aspect was censored. We have copies of them now, they published them in a book ... to be quite frank, the...

Please pardon my ignorance, was it in 1956 onward they started to introduce Incorporeal Shiva? Absolutely correct. There is no mention of Shiva whatsoever up until after 1955/1956. Those are the latest materials we have found where it was all Lekhraj Kirpalani as "Prajapati God Brahma" an...

A "king" (Rajput/Maharajas) at that time might be equivalent to a rich hotelier in todays terms. It is what many and their palaces became after the British left! Yes, it's true Lekhraj Kirpalani was infatuated with royalty (and saw democracy as an impure form of politics, he was openly ins...

Give me a day or two. We have a picture of his shop. I would say he ran a jewellery shop, fair enough. I am not sure about "a diamond merchant", there's no evidence of that (as in traded large amounts of jewels). I also don't think the gem stone trade is a very spiritual or ethical one ......

Old timers and teachers used to say Shiv Baba wanted to impact the society in a big way and there was a reason to dawn on the person (Brahma Baba) most elite community because this is a disruptive approach and the likes. Except the Bhaibund wasn't "the most elite community", unless you cl...

They are actually covering the empty part (backside) of the hall with a screen or makeshift enclosure if less people turn out on a particular date of the season. Oh ... so it "looks good" for the video cameras streaming on the internet. Says it all really. The bottomline is, the original ...

... these people merrily stuffing the cake into each other's mouth. Could see the childish longing for a piece in that poor child's face. I can imagine it. And they do it every other week. Yes, I know a lot of Western BKs were put off by the way the "Seniors" monopolised the stage despite...

Re: Brahmakumari founder had Shankar & Brahma in his body?

For me, what that question underlines is, is that many Indian BKs don't get BKism at all. That it is all just an extension of Bhakti, or a stripped down "Bhakti Lite" to use the phrase you did. That the BKs' Shiva is, to them, one and the same as a Bhakti Shiva. There is a general air of c...

In most promotional videos, they make it a point to include clips of "Double Foreigners" liberally. This is to cash in on the general belief with most Indians that foreigners are more intelligent and if they have accepted, then there must be something very true. This is true ... they've b...

Even if we go by conservative estimates, BK real estate is worth anywhere between $0.5 Billion to $1 Billion US Dollars, as of today. Congratulations, you're probably the first person - outside of the BKs' inner circle accounting team - to attempt an estimation of their worth. I would add several m...

Why all three are targeted, along with the controls put on Tibetan Buddhism, is that their followers main loyalty is meant to be to that religion and/its leader, not the state, and as such could become troublesome in the long run. I think there's a long history to this going back to the start of We...

China alerts citizens against Indian spiritual courses, ‘cults’ Made me snigger ... the group behind the move is called 'China Anti-Cult Association' or CACA for short. How apt. The Brahma Kumaris are operating in China, and under the Values Education facade. I wonder if anyone has told the Communi...

The BKs see themselves as the roots, all wealth will trickle down to them. A recent post that underlined donated property values was a very pertinent one and probably underlines how the BKs will survive. As their numbers decline, through demographics or yet another failure of Destruction to come an...

Re: The Best Way to Treat Someone Infected by BKism

What I have found is that if after leaving the BKs you don't become bitter, hostile and unsuccessful ... which I know is a difficult thing but still if you can somehow maintain a sense of happiness and general well-being around you ... it really confounds the existing BKs and they get really attrac...

I believe that Dada Lekhraj being a wealthy man of little spiritual wisdom and raised in an atmosphere of orthodoxy and superstition acquired some sort of 'Tantrik Sidhhi' from somewhere which enabled him to excercise a certain level of influence on other people's consciousness ... or his own consc...
