short description of interest in joining forum:
I was first introduced to BKs in 1985 and followed their teaching to the 1990's. I left after witnessing the egocentric nature of many senior BKs, dubious claims, in-fighting, and secrecy through omission, especially concerning the claim that Shiv-Baba is really inspiring a man in Delhi and not in mt Abu. In addition, I know of dubious counselling and therapy services in UK offering 'treatments' unsupported by a scientific evidence base to the public - these are BKs disguising themselves and presenting an appearance of legitimacy without revealing their real affiliations. Also I believe that all 'apocolyptic' cults are potentially damaging psychologically and leave a legacy of adjustment difficulties. I have experienced this myself.
