Were you, like me, witness to the fact that the BKs themselves believed that there would be severe problems created in the year 2000 - cause by software malfunction? We all know now that it didn't happen. You would think that, with their "divine guidance", the BKs should have known better.

I was indeed! At the center we spent a considerable amount of time discussing preparations for the end of the world in the months nearing Jan 1 2000. What we all needed to have at home, how we would get to the center, that we each needed to take responsibility for securing supplies for ourselves so that we didn't jeopardize our Karmic stage by having to ask others to share. Of course I sort of wondered what we would all do once we got to the center....

But yes, it did seem to me like B.K.s at all levels REALLY believed the end was near.

Another note, did any of you see the book that was a compilation of quotes from the murlis about what the end of the world would be like? If one gets all the information at once, instead of spread out in dollups in the murlis it comes accross as pretty over the top. I just remembered reading something about snakes being everywhere and thinking.... how? And then trying to find some logic that would explain the sudden appearence of an aweful lot of snakes. On top of it all, I don't really mind snakes, why would their being everywhere have to accompany the end of the world? I guess Guam may already be undergoing world transformation....

I thought it was the Christians who said that the world would come to an end at 2000. Naustradamus had predicted 1996 for the beginning of world destruction. I would say that some of the BKs were getting influenced by all these.
