It is very interesting to see the rituals that we do and see being acted out in this world.

Many are causing so much harm to themselves others.

Omshanti.
These rituals within the Brahmin family and the outside world are the result of body consciousness or the lack of realization of God. God never expects any rituals from his children to meet him or to get the requisite achievements (prapti) like peace, prosperity, happiness, purity etc. from him.

These points are so accurate

body consciousness or the lack of realization of God.

I find it very true in my own life.

If the soul took the time to understand the ritual they will see it for what it is many times foolishness.
